A good ultrasonic cleaners consists of a tank with a transducer at the bottom or side. The tank is filled with water or a suitable cleaning solvent and the object to be cleaned is submerged, with ultrasound sent through to agitate the fluid, helping to remove containments from the object in minutes.

It also depends on personal preference and circumstances.

The three buttons include “OFF”,… 600ml stainless steel tank, basket and watch stand included. ConvenienceHow convenient each type of water filter is will depend on how and where you’re using your water filter. It also depends on personal preference and circumstances. For example, if you have bad knees, a straw water filter may not be your best bet, since it may require that you crouch down on your knees for an extended period of time to drink the water.

See below for the different types of water filters to get a better idea of what you might be looking for. Taste QualityOrganisms and chemicals in water can make it taste funny. This “funny” taste is actually a good indicator that the water isn’t clean.

The taste of clean water is more neutral: this is how your water should taste after going through a filter. EPA StandardsThe Environmental Protection Agency dictates the maximum amount of contaminants allowed in the water. This standard is followed by public water systems and ensures the water is safe to drink.

It is not overly expensive and is small and compact enough to fit in a small workspace. In addition, it is very user-friendly with a push-button digital display. It is capable of outputting 35 watts just like the Skyman and has a fairly quick cleaning cycle.

ConsAs with the Skyman, this unit does not have a heater option and it only outputs one low frequency. However, this is meant to be a starter unit and not for professional mass production. One downside is that the basket is not removable, which can make it difficult to clean after use.

I took every electronics class they offered and even fixed Commodore 64’s for the school district. Some of my favorite things are old retro vintage electronics. Recently, I re-foamed some Cerwin Vega speakers to use with our Pioneer turntable. This was the company’s first expansion outside of Asia.

Its first foothold in the United States was PMX Industries in Cedar Rapids, IA, in 1992. Poongsan America was later established in Los Angeles in July 2002, and then PMC Ammunition in Texas in December 2013. The quality on both sides of the Pacific Ocean is the same, however.

And while the American branch tends to focus on older American cartridges, the Korean branch focuses more on modern military ammunition. If you want to know where your ammunition was manufactured, United States law requires that all ammunition manufacturers stamp the nation of origin right on the box.

PMC and the Korean WarPMC was founded after the end of hostilities in the Korean War. However, the Korean War, as any precocious high schooler knows, never actually ended. A ceasefire was put into place, but a peace treaty was never signed. This means that both Koreas are always on a war footing at all times.

Even democratic South Korea has universal male conscription. Celebrities and other well-heeled Koreans who avoid or attempt to avoid service are committing career suicide. Korean-American pop singer Steve Yoo was banned from the country for attempting to evade service by abandoning his Korean citizenship. South Korea does not recognize the right of conscientious objectors.

The Korean War figures heavily into the beginnings of PMC. South Korea was looking for a way to become more self-sufficient with its armaments. Fortunately for PMC, there were mountains of brass left behind by the United States military and its allies from the days of active combat in Korea.

A lot of 9mm cases were crafted from 105mm artillery shells, and the Poongsan Corporation is well aware of this heritage. It honored 507 Iowa veterans with a monument in Cedar Springs, where its American headquarters are located. PMC has supplied ammunition for all four Korean republics since its founding in 1968. This means that PMC ammunition was used during the Korean DMZ Conflict, also known as the Second Korean War.

Well, You Should Not Worry Anymore

Some can be used in other applications and work well, but as far as I am aware, none had been specifically designed as a gun lubricant. I thought what we really needed is a true expert in lubrication design to answer some questions. And then I remembered that I knew exactly the guy to ask, my old buddy Joe.

Joe holds a doctorate in analytical chemistry and is retired from a research laboratory where he played a significant role in lubricant testing and evaluation. I took Joe shooting a while ago and asked him a bunch of questions. Here are his suggestions regarding gun lubricants.

1. The most important thing in any lubrication oil is the “base oil”. Joe said information led him to believe that Mobil 1 contained a highly stable synthetic base oil that would not lead to gumming or varnishing due to heat or long term oxidation.

2. He stated that Mobil 1, like any premium engine oil, also contains additives such as detergents and anti-wear components. Some of these may not be necessary for gun lubrication, but probably should not cause any harm. 3. He stated that contrary to what some might expect, the use of a lubricant on an AR-15 is not anywhere as hard on an oil as the use in an internal combustion engine.

But higher viscosity (thicker) oils will work better as they will stay where they are applied. He suggested a 10W-30 or 10W-40 oil as a good range for an AR-15. This would also disqualify lighter oils like transmission fluid, as their viscosity is too low.

4. While Mobil 1 is not “designed” as a lubricant for guns, it should work well in that application. I bought a quart of Mobile 1 Synthetic oil for about $9. I found a small container to use to apply it to the guns. That ought to last me for the rest of my life.

There you go. Lubrication advice from someone that is a true expert on the subject. During this year’s INTERMAT, Wacker Neuson exhibited two electric wheel loaders, the Kramer 5055e and the Wacker Neuson WL20e. Both machines are part of the company’s range of emissions-free equipment and are capable of working up to 8 hours on a single charge, depending on the application.
